Four brothers and sisters from the Dyna Lachlan – Flash Diamond syndicate have made their way into tonight’s 2013 Betfair Breeder’s Classic Final at Tattersall’s Park. The speed machine of the litter, Hellyeah Bolt (25.75) went within a whisker (.04 seconds) of the track record last week and while he has to contend with a tougher field and box four he could not have been any more impressive when winning by 8 ¾ lengths. Owned by the North West based Hellyeah Syndicate and trained by Anthony Bullock at Exeter, he is currently quoted an odds-on favourite due to his ability to quickly muster speed from the traps. Litter brother Hellyeah Missile (26.13) won his semi convincingly over his sister Hellyeah Flicka (26.46) by 5 ¼ lengths and will be the hardest to beat from box 3. Hellyeah Jetta (26.44) the last of the quartet has drawn box one which will help but she will be at long odds. Dream Miss looks the only non-relative that could spoil the party.

Jeff The Tipster (R2) is having his second middle distance start of the week after winning in Launceston on Monday night. This son of Mantra Lad again looks too classy. Pest Control might fill the runner up spot again while Enfield Flame might be one for the multiples. Jacky Smart (R5) got into all sorts of trouble last week and deserves another chance jumping from the pink.
Best Bets: R2 No 4 Jeff The Tipster, R5 No 8 Jacky Smart, R6 No 4 Hellyeah Bolt.
Best E/W: R7 No 6 Off and Running, R8 No 6 Kula Girl, R11 No 3 Pipstar.
