Coastal owned Hellyeah Trish looms as one of the better bets on the program at Devonport today.

She meets some stiff opposition in the opening race but she is boxed to win wearing the red vest.

Hellyeah Trish comes off a last-start second from box eight over 599 metres in Hobart so she would only need to begin well and make use of the inside alley to be very hard to beat.

The 580 metre distance will suit the daughter of Bit Chilli but she should have opposition from kennel mate Camdale Buddy (5) and Posh Will, despite her box eight draw.

The best race of the day is the seventh which is a very strong grade three event.

Hi Five Marsha (1), Nooee’s Lad (2), Fine Eagle (3), Gold Max (7) and Rumbling Rick (8) are all in great form so the start will be all important.

Luck is likely to play a part so the one that gets the most should determine the outcome.

The best each-way bet on the card should arrive in race nine in the form of the Susan Gittus-trained Feraro Frugal (2).

At his last three starts the winners were MartelloTowers, Rewind and Yappin’ Jack so it would seem this is definitely a drop in class for the son of Where’s Pedro.
