THE final of the Vet’s Series Medley heats will be the highlight of a strong ten event card at Tattersall’s Park tonight.

After two rounds of heats over both distances only Proven Octane and Stylish Moon remained unbeaten and share prepost favouritism at $4.50.

Given both dogs have good draws they both will be very hard to beat, while Proven Rebel certainly has the quickest time over the distance of 34.45 and shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Improver Prince Mattan, after a solid second to Proven Rebel and a victory over the sprint last week, should be taken in all the multiples.

The Mercury Silver Trophy heats have attracted the best greyhounds in Tasmania and will be hotly contested.

Eagle Eye (R5) although run down by High Choice on Monday night loves this circuit and will be good each way odds.

Youngster Sultan’s Swing fresh from her Country Oaks win at Devonport will be hard to beat while Sandhog although unplaced on Monday is jumping from his box and will start at very good odds.

In the second heat champion bitch Topline Doovee (R7) and Where’s Pedro youngster Regent Typhoon should fight out the finish with fast beginners Perfect Socks and Mercury Morris the next best to make the final.

Best Bets: R4 # 8 Cool Boy Decklyn, R7 # 2 Topline Doovee, R8 # 5 Pearl’s Snow.
