THE second round of Vet’s Series Medley heats will continue tonight at Tattersall’s Park over the sprint.

Hellyeah Benny (R3) looks a safe bet to make the final after a solid second to Common Interest last week.

This son of Where’s Pedro is in fine form and will be very hard to beat.

Proven Rebel won well over the distance and should again run well while Regent Satin is always a place chance.

Heat Seven (R4) looks a bit of a raffle with perhaps Proven Octane and Regal Moon representing the best each way shows.

Common Interest (R5) is in great form and should cruise into the final with another victory.

Prince Mattan (R6) is the prepost favourite off the red and will be hard to hold out however Weegie won well in Launceston on Monday night and will be finishing strongly.

Fire King (R7) has looked impressive for Ian Callinan since coming to Tasmania from NSW for a win and two placings and should be prominent again while Stylish Moon will be the hardest to beat.

The top eight point scorers will qualify for next week’s final over the 599m trip.

Best Bets: R3 # 1 Hellyeah Benny, R4 # 7 Common Interest, R8 # 7 Fire King.

Best E/W: R7 # 6 Weegie, R9 # 8 El Greco, R10 # 7 Cool Avenger.
