Tonight’s meeting at Tattersall’s Park should give punters plenty of opportunity to fill their Christmas stocking with plenty of value on the ten event card.

Bold Vista (R9) trained by Brian Large has been threatening to win one at his last three starts and although jumping from four will get his chance tonight to score at what should be each way odds.

At his last start here he was beaten by the smart Smokin’ Gonzales who made that form look good by winning last Thursday night.

This son of Carnage has had fifteen starts for five wins and six placings and has been a model of consistency.

Hardest to beat should be Mambo Jack and Harrison George. Shanghai Cruise (R8) for Mick Stringer has had the one Tasmanian start for an inglorious seventh in a heat of the Christmas Gift at Devonport.

This daughter of Pure Octane has impressive form at the Meadows and deserves another chance on her new home track.

Parer Road started odds on last week when second to Bees Knees and will be hard to beat from the red while Wild An Creative won well in Launceston on Monday.

Mr. Issues (R4) looks the best bet on the card over the 599m.

With class and experience on his side this well performed pup ran second in a heat of the Hobart Thousand last week and will appreciate the drop in class.

Best Bets: R1 No 6 Mr Pricklepants, R4 No 4 Mr. Issues, R9 No 4 Bold Vista.

Best E/W: R3 No 6 Jenmar Status, R5 No 3 Droopy’s Fool, R7 No 1 Bandit’s Mistake.
