BUCKLE UP TICKY (R1), a daughter of the very well performed Buckle Up Tina looks set for two wins in the week to get punters off to a good start at Tattersall’s Parkl tonight.
After an all the way victory in the Maiden final at Devonport on Tuesday she jumps from the pink which should allow her to position herself towards the lead early and once on the bunny will test her opposition.
Newcomer I’m Bronte’s for Loretta Luttrell comes to Tasmania with a Bendigo win so should be kept safe while Aisha’s Spell looks the best of the rest.
Shanlyn Daisy (R8) from the Graeme Moate kennel represents value in the second leg of the daily double.
In a hard form race this daughter of November Fury drops in grade tonight and with a personal best on the track of 26.34 has the ability to win this.
Front runner Abira will take plenty of catching if she jumps on the lure while Wine Vapour and the enigmatic Pure Tiger should be taken in the multiples.
Damek (R6) again looks too good but he may not have things all his own way early with Sultan’s Swing having speed to burn early.
Bashy’s Boy (R4) and Arrow On Fire (R10) should both run well.
Best Bets: R1 No 8 Buckle Up Ticky, R4 No 6 Bashy’s Boy, R6 No 1 Damek.
Best E/W: R3 No 6 Lenny James, R7 No 3 Citi Legend, R8 No 3 Shanlyn Daisy.
