Callamac Ace should win again tonight

PUNTERS may have to wait until the last race for the best bet at Tattersall’s Park tonight.

Callamac Ace for Rokeby trainer Ian Callinan looks a special jumping from the red.

Having had just the five starts for three wins and a second, this blue son of Where’s Hoover looks set to work his way through the grades over the coming months.

Dave Polley’s Awesome Pedro has been racing consistently and looks the main danger while Abira will be hard to beat if she finds the lead early.

Sultan’s Swing (R4) is looking for her fourth straight win in the Invitation and this daughter of Big Daddy Cool is all class.

Brilliant early speed has set up many a win and although her toughest opponent kennelmate High Choice has her favourite box it is hard to see her turning the tables having been beaten home at her last four starts.

Buzzin’ would be the next best to make up the trifecta.

Mount Direction trainer Wayne Williams doesn’t travel to Hobart unless his dogs are in form so Go Capable Teddy (R2), Troublesome Miss (R5) and Big Man Capable (R6) should be followed with confidence.

Best Bets: R5 No 1 Troublesome Miss, R4 No 1 Sultan’s Swing, R10 No1 Callamac Ace.

Best E/W: R1 No 7 Callamac Kid, R6 No 8 Classic Citi, R7 No 7 Reg’s Big Girl.
