Hobart Greyhounds Preview tonight

IT looks a tough ten event programme for punters at Tattersall’s Park tonight.

Showtime (R5) for Tea Tree trainer Gary Greig gets his chance to score yet another win on the Hobart track.

Having had just the seven starts this son of Hallucinate is giving away plenty of experience against this field but he is without doubt the quickest dog.

St.Pierre having had little luck at his last two could be the dog to test him early while Vane Man and the in form Rebel Patch should make up the multiples.

Colma (R8) has finally drawn an inside box after being drawn out in his last seven starts but unfortunately he is up against Callamac Ace who two out would beat the Gary Johnson trained youngster.

Callamac Ace, however, has had a month off through injury and Colma may well take advantage of that and at the juicy prepost odds of $5 looks a real chance.

Official Speedy has been running well and should be taken in the multiples.

The ‘Bottley’ Green Memorial Maiden has a handful of winning chances with perhaps Cherry Lee (R6) getting her chance to break into the winners circle. Pedro’s Thoughts and Snip in Time look the next best, while Sultan’s Swing (R7) and Regent Typhoon should fight out the Invitation.

Best Bets: R2 No 3 Cyndiana Star, R3 No 6 Jay Brown, R10 No 7 Girrawarra Ali.

Best E/W: R4 No 2 Wine Vapour, R7 No 1 Sultan’s Swing, R8 No 1 Colma.
