TALENTED middle distance greyhound Howzat Grace (R4) looms as one of the better bets on the 10-event card at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart tonight.
The Neville Alison-trained bitch should appreciate a drop in grade her superb win in Devonport over 580 metres 10 days ago, recording a time of 32.98.
She can be slowly away but she is well suited to the 599-metres of tonight’s race and should be able to make it back-to-back wins.
The hardest for her to beat should be the consistent Nordic Knight while Wynburn Charm is again likely to be well in the market.
Immortal Dream (R1) for Moorleah trainer Russell Watts should get punters off on the right note at Elwick tonight. This daughter of Where’s Pedro led all the way at her last start at Devonport beating Posh Renee in 25.82. Although jumping from four she should lead and can hold off Noble Spirit and the consistent Hunter’s Hero. Wild Intention (R10) looks very well graded to bring up his first win in the last. This fawn son of Bobby Boucheau is drawn where he wants to be off the inside and his third to Miss Pisces last week was full of merit.
Best Bets: R1 No 4 Immortal Dream, R5 No 2 Howzat Grace, R10 No 2 Wild Intention.
Best E/W: R3 No 4 Kinloch Angel, R7 No 8 Stella Act, R9 No 2 Lou James.
