IMPROVED box manners have given well bred dog Ridicule a new lease on life.
Ridicule made it successive wins when he led all the way in an invitation race over 461 metres at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart last Thursday night.
The son of Premier Fantasy flew the lids from box three and was never headed on his way to a comfortable win over Buzzin’ with classy bitch High Choice a distant third.
In Hobart last Thursday night Step By Step notched her first win at her fourth start but it won’t be her last.
Ridicule’s form turned around last month when he defeated Rebel Patch in a grade three in Hobart clocking 26.21 which was only a shade slower than the best of the night (26.15).
The dog was flying at this time last year winning five from eight but his form started to wane.
Credit must go to his trainer Alan Anderson who persevered where others might have given up on the dog.
