INCHBYINCH again showed his liking for the tight Burnie circuit with an impressive win last Friday night.
The Barrie Rattray-trained gelding showed brilliant early speed from the standing start to easily hold the lead and he was never threatened on his way to an effortless 11-1/2 metre win over Little Elf with Pop Billy a close-up third.
It was Inchbyinch’s second win at Burnie in a month and there is another suitable race for him at the next Burnie meeting in February.
Inchbyinch is usually driven by multiple premiership-winning driver Gareth Rattray but this time the seat was occupied by his brother Todd Rattray.
However, Gareth still managed to end the night with three winners to be the leading driver of the meeting.
Andrew Rawlings was the best-performed trainer as he also walked away with three winners.
