IMPROVING mare My Tourmaleen gave an indication that she might be ready for a trip interstate after she gave a bold front-running exhibition to win the Betfair.Com.au class 4 handicap over 1200m at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart today (Sunday).

The Tammy Mollross-trained mare led and gave her rivals a galloping lesson to score from the well-backed favourite North Lad with Kalangadoo third.

She was well ridden by Victorian apprentice Talia Rodder who rated the mare superbly.

It was the six-year-old mare’s fourth run this preparation and Mollross is contemplating stepping her up slightly in distance.

My Tourmaleen scored an equally impressive win at her previous start in Hobart although this latest effort had the trainer talking about taking her to Victoria.
