Ireland’s Force (R1) daughter of the Irish sire Kinloch Brae looked luckless here last week when 3rd to Revelator and is close to a win in the first of ten at Tattersall’s Park tonight. Trained by Russell Watts she has only had the four starts for two placings and although jumping from the squeeze looks well placed in this race. Underclass Hero looms as her main danger. Mental As Ben (R4) is an ever reliable Martin trained chaser who is in great touch and superbly drawn in the pink. This son of Cosmic Rumble has had twenty eight starts for eight wins and fourteen placings and has never missed a place jumping from the eight. Frimpong for Graeme Moate looks a great quinella option while Trex Tiger won well on Monday and must be taken in the multiples. Hannah Boden (R10) trained by Wayne Smith was a most impressive all the winner at Hobart on debut last week and looks ideally suited here with slow beginners on her outside.
