Irinka Julia (R1) for Burnie trainer Wayne Maine looks likely to get punters off to a flying start at Tattersall’s Park tonight.
This daughter of Irinka Dennis, owned at Zeehan by Helen Pringle who owned GOTY Damascus Road, won well at her last start at Devonport beating Ace King and her second in the Laurels final behind Millie Grace was full of merit.
Silent Giggle has ran a couple of nice placings here and looks the hardest to beat while Braddon Bullet may be one at odds for the multiples.
The clash of the night, this week will be Decembrist v’s Mojito in the Invitation (R6).
Last week Decembrist’s brother Damek held off Mojito to lead all the way.
Mojito appears to better suited from the inside and for this reason, Decembrist who is racing very well should emulate his brother’s victory. Innisfree Miss and Bit Regal look next best.
Holota Rosie (R10) is racing exceptionally well since arriving in Tasmania to the kennels of Bruce Drake at Dromedary.
This well bred daughter of Surf Lorian who has won at Angle Park, broke through at her last start at Launceston and looks well placed here.
The Bullock pair of Whitney’s Furnee and Classic Typhoon look the hardest to beat.
Best Bets: R1 No 3 Irinka Julia, R7 No 8 Seductive Miss, R10 No 6 Holota Rosie.
Best E/W: R2 No 2 Josh Pines, R3 No 1 Stylish Michael, R8 No 2 Jonah Hex.
