TALENTED Tasmanian two-year-old pacer Ken Two Stars will attempt to qualify for a berth in the Breeders Crown semi-finals by winning a heat at UBET Racing Centre in Launceston on Sunday night.
Ken Two Stars has been impressive in winning at his past two starts, the latest in Launceston last Friday night.
The Wayne Campbell-trained locally bred gelding had to tough it out to win last time and that will have him at his peak going into Sunday night’s race.
However it will be no easy task because Victorian trainer Dean Braun has entered his juvenile Soho Chelsea that is coming off consecutive wins at Warragul and Cranbourne.
Braun has been successful in qualifying his two and three-year-olds for the Breeders Crown series in Tasmania in the past but his two-year-old will need to be better than average to outgun Ken Two Stars that has been producing decent sectional times in winning his past two.
Watch Ken Two Stars winning in Launceston last Friday night.
The Breeders Crown event is the last on the nine-race program on Sunday night.
