EXCITING greyhound Kool Puppy will be out to expand on his wining steak at Devonport today where he tackles a grade four event (race 8) over 452 metres.

Kool Puppy has won his past three impressively and while he has drawn awkwardly in box six, provided his box manners remain impeccable the Brendan Pursell-trained youngster should keep his Tasmanian unbeaten record intact.

He won a grade five and grade four in Hobart with ease and at his first look at the Devonport track last week he made his rivals look ordinary on his way to a decisive two-length win over Sir Buddy.

With that run o the Devonport circuit behind him he should be more confident this time around.

With only eight races framed at Devonport today race eight is the last leg of the quadrella so Kool Puppy becomes the logical banker in this exotic bet type.
