TALENTED Tasmanian three-year-old filly Lady Jane has bee sent to the spelling paddock following her unplaced effort at Flemington last Saturday.
Lady Jane, prepared at Brighton by Royston Car, ventured interstate unbeaten from three starts on home soil and while she finished down the track with Craig Williams aboard at her interstate debut Carr was pleased with her effort.
“The filly learned a lot from the trip and even though she didn’t place Craig (Williams) said she did a good job,” Carr said.
“The experience of traveling and all that goes with an interstate trip can only benefit her in the long run.”
“She’s done a marvelous job winning at her only three Tasmanian starts and I’m sure she will come back bigger and stronger next preparation.”
“She is already spelling and she’ll be well looked after at Armidale,” he said.
