An absorbing clash looms in Devonport on Tuesday afternoon when glamour bitches Amy Cora and Wynburn Lethal go toe-to-toe in race six on the program.

Facing off in the Ladbrokes Stake over 452 metres for fourth grade chasers, such is the domination the two hold in betting they are the only two runners under double figure odds.

Wynburn Lethal, having her first start back for Ben Englund following a short stint in Victoria, is the $1.75 favourite from box seven, while Amy Cora is quoted a $2 chance from box two.

Without question the two hottest bitches in Tasmania, racegoers are in store for a terrific spectacle this afternoon.

Wynburn Lethal steps out for the first time since her cracking Sandown Park victory last month for Kel Greenough where she recorded a sizzling 4.98 early before scoring in 29.71.

Winner at 10 of her 23 starts, the daughter of Dyna Double One boasts a fast personal best time in Devonport of 25.62 and looks mighty hard to beat Tuesday afternoon.

Amy Cora on the other hand comes into the race off a shock Devonport defeat last Tuesday at $1.16 – ending a five run winning stretch for the Hobart Maiden 1000 winner.

Trained by Debbie Cannan, Amy Cora goes into today’s race as the winner at 11 of her 15 starts and boasts a blistering personal best time at the Devonport track of 25.41.

With some terrific betting races on Tuesday’s eight race card, the second event of the afternoon promises to be another thrilling clash between exciting up-and-comers Siberia and Quick Joey Small.

The regally bred Siberia comes into the race fresh off a best of night 26.09 Hobart win last Thursday while Quick Joey Small will look to go one better than his debut second in Launceston recently.

From the exciting Aston Dee Bee x She’s All Class litter, Quick Joey Small is trained by David Crosswell who looks set to play a strong hand in the opening race of the day also with Vintage Fame and Highland Wonder.

On Monday night in Launceston another from the litter, Highland Chief, scored on debut in a slick 16.07 for the 278 metres.
