LILLYCETTE is one of Tasmania’s most promising greyhounds and she gets the chance enhance her reputation in a heat of the Launceston Cup at The TOTE Racing Centre tonight.

Lillycette has started four times on the Launceston circuit for three wins and second and tonight she has drawn favorably in box two but against strong opposition.

If she cam emerge triumphant tonight she will be one of the favourites to win the final but she only has to finish in the first four to qualify for a berth in one of three semi-finals to be run next week.

Her main opposition tonight should come from Her Highness (3) and the in-form Rory Mac that is trained by Sonia Martin and owned by Ricky Ponting.

Lillycette is entered in the first of six heats with the first four placegetters in each of the heats to progress to the semi-finals with the fifth placegetters in each heat to be named reserves.

The first heat is scheduled to start at 8.22 pm.
