TALENTED juvenile greyhound Ireland’s Force will be out to make amends for being beaten when sent out an odds-on favourite in Hobart last Thursday night when she takes on a juvenile-graduation over 452 metres (race 1) at Devonport today.

The Russell Watts-trained youngster has been in great form of late winning three in succession before she had to settle for second to Idle By in a grade five event over 461 metres in Hobart last Thursday night in which she copped a bad check early and three sever bumps in the run before flashing home to go down by a narrow margin.

Today she jumps from box two and she will have to at least begin with them as she has a fast beginner in An That on her inside and the in-form Kinloch’s Fury (6) also has good box manners and plenty of early speed.

Her litter brother Irish Gift (Kinloch Brae-Shanlyn Supreme) also looms as a top chance to make it four wins in succession when he steps out from box seven in a grade five (race 4) over 452 metres.

Irish Gift has been impressive in winning at his past three starts that includes his latest effort in Hobart last Thursday night where he rattled home to grab victory in the last few bounds.
