TALENTED two-year-old Gee Gees Top Notch sounded a warning that she will be a contender in the feature juvenile races during the 2015 Betfair Tasmanian Summer racing Carnival with an emphatic win in the $25,000 Alexandra Plate over 1000 metres at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart today.

Gee Gees Top Notch ($1.95) settled just off the speed and was always travelling like the winner while her main rival Siorca ($3) was a couple of lengths further adrift.

Brightness settled second outside of the leader and travelled well to the home turn,

With stable apprentice Rhonda Mangan aboard Gee Gees Top Notch was eased three-wide to challenge in the home straight and when balanced she powered home to score comfortably from Brightness with Siorca doing his best work at the business end of proceedings.

Listen to what trainer John Luttrell had to say about Gee Gees Top Notch’s latest win.
