UNDERRATED mare Tuesdaynitedelight ended a long run of outs for Campania trainer Christine Crook when she powered home to win a class four handicap over 1200 metres at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart yesterday.

With Kim Moore in the saddle, Tuesdaynitedelight settled just worse than midfield but with cover and when Moore called on the seven-year-old for the big effort in the home straight she delivered the knockout blow to her rivals to go on and score comfortably from Pinks A Legend with Lazy Democracy third just ahead of Ski Dubai.

The mare had not started for five weeks due to a virus that had swept through Crook’s stables.

Tuesdaynitedelight has had 42 starts for four wins and 11 minor placings for about $58,000 in stakes.

Listen to what trainer Chris Crook and jockey Kim Moore had to say about Tuesdaynitedelight’s latest win.
