TASMANIAN Hall of Fame thoroughbred trainer Graeme McCulloch expects his promising gelding Kool Kash to add another win when he steps out in a class two handicap (race nine) over 1350m at Spreyton on Sunday.
Kool Kash resumed this preparation with a near last in Hobart on an unsuitable heavy track but when McCulloch took him to the synthetic at Spreyton he delivered the desired result.
The gelded son of Rock of Gibraltar was as game as they come when victorious two starts back at what was his first try on the Tapeta synthetic and at his most recent outing he was a courageous second to the in-form Krake over 1350 metres.
In-form apprentice Boris Thornton has secured the ride and with his two kilogram claim Kool Kash will carry 57 kilograms which gets hi in well at the weights.
The Bill Ryan-trained Osborne is second-up from a spell and should be a big improver and last start winner Incumsdacash also warrants respect as he was victorious in Launceston over 1420m (C1) at his most recent start and he was a winner on the synthetic in a maiden over 1350m five starts back.
