ONE of Tasmania’s most exciting greyhound prospects Oh Joy will make her Hobart debut tonight at Tattersall’s Park in a juvenile/maiden (race 4) over 461 metres.
Oh Joy could not have been more impressive in winning at her first start in Launceston over 278 metres last Monday week.
The Susan Gittus-trained bitch began brilliantly on debut from box eight and gave nothing else a chance on her way to an almost 12-length win in a time of 16.15.
Tonight the 20-month old pup wears the white vest (box 3) with a first starter (1) and a moderate beginner Double Chance (2) on her inside.
Provided she displays similar box manners to her debut effort in Launceston she should be very hard to run down.
