ONLY KISS produced a powerful finishing burst to win the opening race on the nine-event card at UBET Park Hobart today.

With in-form jockey Kim Moore in the saddle, the Rhonda Hall-trained filly settled third behind the favourite The Captain and the well-backed Fill Ya Boots and they stayed in that order to the home turn.

The Captain kicked clear but he was unable to withstand the powerful finish of Hall’s filly that went on to defeat The Captain by a half-length with What An Option running on for third over a length away.

The trainer heaped praise on fellow trainer Royston Carr who she said has been working hard to sort out a few issues the filly has had leading up to this latest assignment.

Only Kiss (Swinging bachelor-Prefer A Kiss) is a three-year-old filly that was bred by Hall and she is hoping there are more wins in store.

Listen to what trainer Rhonda Hall had to say about Only Kiss’s win.
