FORMER NSW dog Paua To Destroy made it two wins from only three starts in the state when he scored impressively in a strong grade four over 461 metres in Hobart last night.
The Ian Callinan-trained dog suffered an injury at his Tasmania debut in April but he recovered to win a stewards’ trial last month.
The dog has won at his two subsequent starts and on times he could easily make it a hat trick in a grade four in Hobart this week.
Paua To Destroy’s time of 26.44 was good considering he was kept off the track to the top turn and only got to the fence turning for home.
He had a win at Wentworth Park and multiple placings at Bulli and Nowra before arriving in Callinan’s kennels at Rokeby, near Hobart.
