GOOD box manners coupled with above average ability is set to net lightly raced bitch Perfect Socks a string of wins in the coming months.
Perfect Socks is prepared by Hobart Greyhound racing Club chairwoman Denise Fysh who has enjoyed her share of success over the years.
Perfect Socks gave her rivals a galloping lesson in a strong grade four event over 461 metres.
She flew the lids from box three and had a three-length break at the top turn.
She went on to score by over five lengths from outsider Kyambra Copy with Oskarama a nose astern wand the same margin clear of the favourite Hellbound.
Perfect Socks has won three fro five in Hobart with her overall Tasmanian record standing at six wins and three minor placings from 12 outings.
She began her career in New South Wales in the care of Christine Proctor, winning her first two starts at Dapto over 520 metres and in reasonable time.
After two subsequent failed attempts she was sent to Tasmania.
