FOLLOWERS of the Go The Pink Dog promotion that is aimed at raising funds for the support of families experiencing breast cancer reaped big rewards in Hobart last night.

Harley Dee was the first winner carrying the pink vest and arrived at the huge odds of $47 for Leith trainer Gary Johnson.

Harley Dee began well from the outside box and was settled third on the fence by the time the field reached the top turn.

Harley Dee hit the front in the home straight but was clearly headed by the favourite Brighton Bullet.

However, Harley Dee fought back and hit the line a half=length clear of the favourite with Heallyeah Taz a close-up third.

Every time a greyhound wearing the pink number 8 rug wins a race in Victoria or Tasmania during February, Greyhound Racing Victoria and TasRacing are donating $500 to the McGrath Foundation, to help fund additional McGrath Breast Care Nurses across Australia.
