ANOTHER highly promising three-year-old galloper has emerged on the scene in the form of the David and Scott Brunton-trained Pixelated.

The gelded son of Shinzig debuted with a win in Hobart on April 7 over 1100 metres and he was impressive that day but it was nothing compared with his powerful performance to win the $20,000 Rural Solutions Autumn handicap over 1200 metres at the same venue last Saturday.

Pixelated powered home to score full of running from Terra Amata and the winner’s stablemates Royal Rapture and Come Follow Me.

It was a sensational field of three-year-olds that also boasted smart fillies Little River Girl and Snippetee Bee and the well performed Minute Repeater, Bertie’s Bells and Hot To trot.

Pixelated was well ridden by Brendon McCoull who urged the gelding forward to race outside of the lewder Little River Girl from the 700-metre peg to the top of the home straight.

They leaders drifted up the track slightly as they battled their way up the home straight but this allowed apprentice Siggy Carr to drive her charge Terra Amata through along the rails and that filly hit the front 150 metres from home.

But Pixelated dug deep and regained the leads and hit the line a half-length clear of Terra Amata with Royal Rapture closing fast with his stablemate Come Follow Me.

Pixelated is unbeaten from only two starts and looks set for a bright future.
