CLASSY greyhound bitch Posh Di confirmed her status as one of the state’s best middle distance performers when she scored a game win in a heat of the Launceston Mitsubishi Medley series at The TOTE Racing Centre in Launceston on Monday night.

Posh Di began fairly from box four but was unable to hold out National Vision that flew the lids from box seven to lead clearly at the wining post the first time.

National Vision opened up a four-length break down the back stretch and still held sway half-way up the home straight but Posh Di dug deep over the concluding stages to grab victory over National Vision in the shadows of the post.

Posh Di is trained by Anthony Bullock who campaigned the bitch in Victoria with success last month.

The heavily backed Arrow On Fire won the other heat leading all the way to defeat Where’s Ned and Stylish Bernie

Arrow On Fire, prepared at Beaconsfield by Julie Bannon, made the most of wearing the red vest to hold his rivals out to the first turn and established a winning lead down the back stretch.

Where’s Ned ran on well as did Stylish Bernie with the reserve Amelia’s Pride finishing on their heels to earn a berth in next week’s final.
