Preview – Hobart, Sunday 21 June UPDATED

10 races were successfully run in Launceston last week to resume Tasmanian thoroughbred racing and it continues in Hobart on Sunday with an eight-race program. Field size restrictions have been lifted enabling more runners to gain a start and we are working with a maximum of 14 per race based on the 8m rail position.

A track pattern hasn’t really developed in the short amount of racing on the redeveloped Hobart track but it will pay to keep an eye on rainfall with as much as 15mm forecast for Sunday which may cause a downgrade from the Soft 5 rating on Friday.
