Thoroughbred racing returns to Hobart for the first time since Ladbrokes Hobart Cup Day when the National Apprentice Race Series rolls into town. The first leg of the series has attracted riders from across the country and no doubt many will be having their first Tasmanian ride.
The rail moves out to the 10-metre position having raced much further in at the two meetings since the redeveloped track opening. A good 4 surface is expected given the fine weather forecast.
