The feature race meetings continue in Tasmania with the Listed ALFA Gold Sovereign for two-year-old’s the highlight of Wednesday’s 10-race program. A relatively even looking bunch of juveniles this season has seen two visitors Jyoti and Avenue of Pleasure installed at the head of the market ahead of a host of local chances.
Somewhat unusually for a feature race meeting, the rail is out nine metres from the 1200 to the winning post, so it will be important to monitor early if that position favours those racing forward which is often the case.
