I’m Wesley’s quest for a third successive Listed Conquering Stakes headlines an eight-race card in Launceston Wednesday night. The Conquering shapes as one of the races of the Ladbrokes Tasmanian Summer Racing Carnival but the support card is strong, with the $50,000 3YO Trophy full of up and coming horses. The rail moves back into the true position after being out for the last few meetings, so it may be worth monitoring whether the protected ground on the inside is any advantage, particularly on a firm racing surface.
