The Ladbrokes Tasmanian Summer Racing Carnival continues on Wednesday night with eight races run in Launceston. The main race on the program is the Ladbrokes Stakes over 1200 metres under weight-for-age conditions. Proven Group and Listed winners Hellova Street, I’m Wesley and Blaze Forth take on the challenger Gee Gee Secondover in an intriguing race despite the small field.
The rail is out 7 metres for the entire circuit and with warm weather forecast the potential is there for a track favouring those on-speed, so it will be worth looking for any pattern through the front half of the card.
