AN awkward box draw should not be a big enough obstruction to prevent local star Rewind from nothing his 15th win on the U-bend track this afternoon (Tuesday, September 25).
Rewind has missed a place only once in twenty Devonport starts and the black and should the son of Collide-Ricky’s Angel produce a time even close to his best (25.31) he should romp home.
Rewind can be a bit risky at the start but the same applies to his main danger Black Nitro that has the ability to go close to Rewind’s best time on the track.
Silent Giggle returns to the track from injury but if she is anywhere near her best she could win race six from the inside box.
The Michael Stringer trained Silver Dave should take punters out on a winning note (race 10), despite being drawn awkwardly in box five.
At his first Tasmanian appearance he won a qualifying heat at Hobart in 26.22 and then won the final beating Lozza’s Express which went on to win at Devonport last week in 25.89.
