WELL bred dog Ridicule broke a long run of outs when he powered his way to an impressive win in strong grade three over 461 metres in Hobart last Thursday night.

It was the Alan Anderson-trained dog’s first win in over a year.

He had failed at 20m previous starts ranging from grade four to grade three events on all three tracks in the state.

But at his latest outing he began brilliantly from box six and held the lead to the top turn.

The dog extended his lead turning for home and went on to score comfortably from Rebel Patch and Bit Regal.
