PROMISING stayer Instant Rockstar continued his love affair with the Hobart track last Thursday night with another record-breaking performance.
Instant Rockstar demoralised a handy field over 599 metres and on the way broke his own track record that he set two weeks earlier.
The Russell Watts-trained dog stopped the clock at 34.46 with splits of 5.26, 12.42 and 18.70.
His previous best set on October 15 was 34.53.
In between his two record-breaking wins he was third in a 580-metre mixed grades 4-5 over 580 metres at Devonport.
Watts expects Instant Rockstar to step up to the longer distances in the New Year.
