Mole Creek trainer Joshua Wright only has the two race dogs in his kennel at present and they both line up in Devonport on Tuesday, with the 10-race card commencing at the early start time of 11:37 am.
Professional place getter Rookie Ronaldo lines up in the fourth race of the afternoon, the Ladbrokes Multi Builder Grade 5 over the 452-metre trip.
The Fabregas – Stayers Inn dog has been placed in 18 of his 28 career starts with his only win coming in Hobart on 2 July.
“He is pretty consistent, but it is a bit frustrating that he can’t breakthrough, but he is paying his way that’s for sure,” said his trainer Joshua Wright.
Rookie Ronaldo has been runner up in six of his last seven outings, all of which have been on the Devonport track.

The most recent effort was last Tuesday where he led easily from box six before being grabbed right on the line by Enchanted Spirit in 25.90s with a nose separating the two runners in a finish that was so close the stewards even viewed the photo before all-clear was given.
“I have taken him to Hobart in the past, but he doesn’t jump as well as he does in Devonport so we will try and keep him there, said Wright.
“We race him week to week now and he is pulling up well each run, so we will keep doing that until he tells us he needs a break,” added the trainer.
Tasracing’s Speed Map, which can be found on the Formplus section of the website expects the chaser to lead, with an average first section of 6.06s.
“He has come on fairly well with his box manners of late, he will get out early but whether he will pull through on Tuesday we will have to wait and see,” Wright said.
Hello Lenny goes around in the third race, the Surepick Masters also over 452 metres.
“He is going pretty good,” Wright said about his chaser that has drawn box seven.
“He trialled well down there last Saturday week but last Tuesday he missed the kick a few lengths and in top grade races you can’t afford to miss it,” explained the Mole Creek-based trainer.
“He is coming back to a masters race, but it is still pretty hard with Sacred Shadow and Lenard’s Boy in the race, it is more like a top-grade field,” Wright said.
Punters are reminded the start times have been amended for Tuesday’s card, with the first race set down for 11:37 am.
