Top class performer up North, Roo’s Blue (R8) for Hadspen trainer Greg Homan looks like breaking through at Tattersall’s Park tonight.
This blue daughter of Collision is still in Grade 5 company on this track however from the red she should break a six start drought since winning here back in February.
Having won well at her last start at Devonport she will be chock full of confidence and should lead from box rise.
Her main opposition will come from Hussey Stanley and Doc Berkshire. Portrait Ignites (R10) for veteran Broadmarsh trainer Keith Nichols impressed with an exciting best of the night performance here last week and although rising in grade should continue on her winning way.
This daughter of Where’s Pedro having won at Sandown in April should be followed with confidence over the coming months.
Hardest to beat will be the rejuvenated Shanlyn Sparky and the very consistent Able Lad.
Wynburn Diamond (R11) should ensure punter’s finish on a high note while champion Damek (R6) looks too good in the Wally Lake Memorial.
Best Bets: R6 No 4 Damek, R8 No 1 Roo’s Blue, R10 No 6 Potrait Ignites.
Best E/W: R1 No 5 Ace King, R6 No 6 Dasher Dooley, R11 No 7 Wynburn Diamond.
