TALENTED greyhound Rory Mac has only been lightly raced at UBET Park Hobart but with the Hobart Thousand series looming connections are obviously keen to give the dog as much racing time on the circuit before the Group 1 heats in a fortnight.
Rory Mac has been in good form of late and he gets his chance to add another win on the Hobart circuit when he lines up in a grade four event over 461 metres tonight wearing the pink vest.
The Sonia Martin-trained dog has had only five starts in Hobart for two wins and as many minor placings and given his latest victory was from box eight in Launceston three starts back there are plenty of reasons why punters will warm to him tonight in race six.
The Series One Tasbred Bonus final (race 5) is another feature on tonight’s 10-event card and here the in-form Katey Roman is likely to carry the weight of punters’ money given her recent form.
The Paul Hili-trained bitch has won her past three and she would only need to replicate that form to win again.
