Droopy’s Jacket (R1) is an unraced pup in the kennel of Sheffield’s leading trainer Gerald Mace and by all accounts is trialling particularly well. All the mail points to this daughter of Droopy’s Marco running a good race first up.
Buckle Up Beneau (R2) for Leith’s Gary Johnson had been trialling well and although his fourth last week was a tad disappointing he will enjoy the rail and should get his first win on the board.
Satanic Breeze (R6) also looks well served jumping from the red and should provide Gary Johnson with another winner. The Leith kennel is also represented by Andariel, Straight Arrow and Speed of Rhino and these four could easily fill the trifecta.
Novice trainer Blake Pursell could get his first winner with I’ve Got You (R8). This daughter of Swift Fancy has terrible form of 665 but has been devilishly unlucky.
Best Bet of this afternoon’s card of racing in Devonport is “The Slamma” in Race 7.
