THE North-East Pacing Club’s annual harness meeting at Scottsdale had to be postponed after only one race today.
Torrential rain fell on the track during the running of the first event and it continued to fall heavily up to the scheduled start time of race two.
Stewards were forced to postpone the remainder of the card due to the weather conditions and the state of the track.
A decision on whether the remaining races can be run at a later date will be made on Monday.
