SMART three-year-old sprinter Secuma gave his rivals a galloping lesson at Tattersall’s Park inHobarttoday.
With talented young apprentice Rhagan Cross in the saddle and taking four kilograms off the gelding’s back, Secuma showed his customary early speed to lead comfortably.
When Cross released the brakes turning for home he sped clear and went on to win by over four lengths from Build A Bridge with Pengalas Gee Gee over two lengths away third.
It was the Brendan McShane-trained gelding’s third win from his past four starts and now looks set to tackle the next 3YO feature race on the calendar at the end of the month
