A WELCOME return to form by smart chaser Senor Slamma in a middle distance event at Devonport two weeks ago should give punters an incentive to follow up in a similar graded event over 600 metres at the UBET Racing Centre in Launceston tonight.
Senor Slamma has been something of a hit and miss greyhound during his racing career but when he finds form he usually hangs on to it for a while.
The Gary Johnson-trained dog is rising four but he still has a zest for racing and from box two tonight in race six he should make his presence felt at the business end of proceedings.
Senor Slamma’s main dangers appear to be Shiny New (1), Bold Dancer (4) and Adam’s Gun (7).
Another top chance to notch another win is He’s Al Class that has drawn ideally in box one in the eighth race which is the last leg of the quadrella.
