Shanlyn Flossy has form on the board

14 / 02 / 2013 Article by: TR Internal

The Graeme Moate-trained Shanlyn Flossy (R7) looks set to continue his winning form at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart tonight

The daughter of Big Daddy Cool won well at Launceston last Thursday and that it was her first start since December she should be all the better for the outing.

Shanlyn Flossy has had two starts wearing the black vest for a win and a second and while this field has plenty of experience she should be able to find the lead and be hard to run down.

Bees Knees is knocking on the door and will be the hardest to beat while Amazing Albert and Regal Solo should be taken in the multiples.

Nicholas Jack (R9) is a former South Australian having his first start in Tasmania for Ted Medhurst.

This son of Made To Size has won three at Gawler and AnglePark and if Medhurst can get him to begin well he will be hard to beat. Gold Max has done everything right lately and will be his main opposition.

Hobart Thousand finalist Custodian is contesting a middle distance Grade 5 and will be very hard to beat for Colebrook’s Steve O’Brien.
Best Bets: R3 No 6 Custodian, R7 No 7 Shanlyn Flossy, R10 No 7 Dark Dee.
Best E/W: R1 No 6 Yankee Al, R6 No 8 Frytson, R9 No 4 Nicholas Jack.
