A TOUR of some of the state’s top thoroughbred studs has unveiled some potential stars of the upcoming Magic Millions Tasmanian Yearling Sale.
Many trainers and owners took advantage of a specially organised tour of the studs that paraded selected yearlings from their drafts that will go under the hammer at the Inveresk Sales complex in Launceston on February 13.
A colt by West Quest from former smart race mare Angel’s Jewel had everyone talking when he paraded at Grenville Stud.
The colt, to be sold as Lot 85, is a good walker, strong boned and was very responsive to his handler during the parade.
His dam was well performed winning nine and this is her sixth foal.
She has had three to race and all won.
