STAR CHAMBER has delivered results beyond expectations and in Hobart last Thursday night he delivered another stellar performance to register his 10th win.
Medhurst describes Star Chamber as a “habitually bad beginner” but he possesses a big motor and an incredible will to win.
Last Thursday night in Hobart Star Chamber ($2.60) delivered one of his best wins.
He had to recover from a serious check midrace and then weaved his way through the field before powering his way to an emphatic win by almost four lengths from the consistent Bain’s Lane with Smichols a length away third.
“To win like he did after copping such a bad check was a sensational effort,” Medhurst said.
Star Chamber has been one of the quieter achievers in the Medhurst kennel.
The dog has won 10 and been placed 12 times from only 31 starts for $20,000 in stakes.
“He has a lot of ability and that’s evident when you look at his record and I’m sure he will continue to win his share of races while there are races for him here in Tassie,” he said.
