TO describe Star Chamber as the best invitation grade dog going around on the Hobart track would be fitting for a sprinter that has won half of his 24 starts on the U-bend circuit at UBET Park.
Star Chamber has won his past three over 461 metres in invitation grade and two starts back he did it in a personal best time of 25,88.
In fact his past three wins have been in sub 26 second times.
Tonight he will start from box two in an invitation not dissimilar to the one he won last week.
The Ted Medhurst-trained dog won from box six last week and while he had sensational form punters let him go around at the luxurious price of $4 defeating his kennel mate Prescribe with Hello Ay Jay third.
The same two dogs loom as his main dangers tonight with Hello Ay Jay to start from box three while Prescribe will wear the pink vest.
But if Star Chamber jumps with them and he is within striking distance on the home turn he should win again because his strength that allows him to unleash a powerful finishing burst is one of his biggest assets.
The Invitation is race seven on the 10-race card and is scheduled to start at 9.39.
