Ted Medhurst’s Star Chamber (R6) looks the pup to beat in tonight’s Young Star Classic Final at Tattersall’s Park. This son of Lonesome Cry ran an outstanding 26 seconds even in his heat win over Boston Heart and has already won from the pink here late last month.

Buckle Up Fletch for Gary Johnson continues to be consistent and will be the hardest to beat while the Watts pair of Ireland’s Force and Boston Heart look best for the multiples.

Julia Flys (R2) looks a real short course type and looks ideally suited in an even race jumping from the inside. Canuck and Honest To Rod will be the main opposition from the outside. Lake Hylia (R9) is very consistent, a good beginner and looks perfectly placed in the red box for Invermay trainer Eileen Thomas.
